Sun protection takes on a new look with Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design graduate Jeremy Innes-Hopkins’s sun screen marker pens. The marker pens are one of the first products being produced by Method Design Lab, a team effort between CSM and San Francisco-based innovation and design consultancy Method to jumpstart successful commercial marketing for student product ideas.
Method, which has worked on product designs for big-name companies like Google and Microsoft, will use its position at MDL to take the best ideas from CSM students to help market and manufacture their products. The design accelerator, which launched in March 2011, will take on up to 20 projects a year from CSM students.
